Love it. I was feeling so bad for you. Gotta protect your mental health!

I’d love to hear your thoughts on potential coaching candidates, and maybe a “Retain or Not Retain” piece, where you go player by player.

In any case, I’ll be reading whenever you’re writing. Go Hoos, always.

Thanks! Yeah, I’ll surely do a few things as the season progresses.

I understand your need to take a break. I had the feeling when reading the Cal game breakdown that I might not be able to stomach reading about the rest of these games this year, and I skimmed a little of your piece rather than my usual practice of reading carefully and watching all the clips. It’s not that much fun wallowing in misery. Reading your work has deepened my understanding of basketball in general, not just UVA, and I thank you for the education. I listened to yesterday’s game because I was working on a home project, and every time I heard John Freeman say “a difficult step-back 2” or “rebound batted around, Stanford comes out with it” I had good mental pictures of the context thanks to you.

Take care of yourself, see you around!

Thank you! That means a lot to me. And I’ll still be here just not after every game.

Can’t blame you at all, it is an exercise in futility now.
We will all look forward to what comes next!

Thanks for your analyses this year. The transfer portal is a double edged sword, but it is encouraging to see teams like Louisville make a great hire and turn the team around quickly. Hopefully we can do the same

Thanks for what you do in what could be considered a full time reporters job in a more detailed manner.
It is discouraging to all us Hoos fans to see what is happening to our team but I can imagine doubly so for you.
Always look forward to your analysis and if what we all expect happens your blog will be a great resource for all who read.
